This is a world-class opportunity for high-achieving students to immerse themselves in cutting-edge laboratories in Daejeon. You won't just be observing; you'll be part of a team working on real-world scientific challenges in fields like Physics, Chemistry, and Brain Science.


Internship Highlights

  • Host Institution: KAIST (Advanced Institute for Science-X)

  • Internship Period: July 1 – August 14, 2026 (7 Weeks)

  • Eligible Fields: Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Brain & Cognitive Science, Medical Science).

Fully Funded Benefits

KAIST provides a comprehensive support package for international interns:

  • Round-trip Airfare: Reimbursement of actual expenses up to 1,000,000 KRW.

  • Dormitory Support: Free or subsidized accommodation up to 500,000 KRW.

  • Living Stipend: A stipend of 600,000 KRW to cover your meals and basic expenses.

  • Cultural Experience: Participate in guided Korean cultural trips and an official opening ceremony.


Who Can Apply?

  • Undergraduate Students: Must be in their 3rd or 4th year of study.

  • Graduate Students: Master’s course students are welcome.

  • Non-Eligible: Students currently enrolled in a PhD program cannot apply.

  • Internationality: Open to all non-Korean citizens worldwide.

  2. Official Transcript: Must be issued within the last three months with an official seal.
