NomadGO (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use the NomadGO website and/or mobile application (“Services”). This policy applies to users globally, including compliance frameworks for the European Union (GDPR).
1. Personal Data We Collect
We practice data minimization and collect only the information necessary to provide you with our mapping and review features.
a) Information You Provide:
Name / Display Name
Email address
Content you submit (Star ratings and text-based reviews of listed businesses)
Messages sent through contact or support forms
b) Automatically Collected Information:
Device model and operating system version (for stability and app optimization)
App version and device language settings
Approximate location (country and city, inferred via IP address)
Precise geolocation (GPS coordinates), only if you explicitly grant permission via your device settings.
c) Account & Authentication Data:
Login identifiers (including social login IDs if using Apple or Google authentication)
Encrypted credentials (passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text)
2. How We Collect Data
We collect data directly from you when you create an account, submit a business review, or interact with our interfaces. We may also receive anonymous or aggregated technical analytics from performance monitoring frameworks, such as Firebase or Google Analytics, if enabled.
3. How We Use Your Data
We utilize your data to securely operate and optimize NomadGO:
To manage user profiles, validate authentic accounts, and prevent spam reviews.
To attribute star ratings and text reviews to a user identity.
To utilize your precise device location to display your real-time position on local maps and highlight nearby businesses, attractions, or coordinates within Mongolia.
To communicate critical account alerts or respond to support requests.
📌 Data Commercialization: We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal data, names, or emails to any third-party tourism agencies, commercial entities, or advertisers.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For users within the European Economic Area (EEA), we process data under the following lawful frameworks:
Your Explicit Consent: Required for accessing precise device GPS location data.
Contractual Necessity: Required to handle your name, email, and account credentials to manage your profile and display your reviews.
Legitimate Interest: To maintain platform security, moderate reviews against abuse, and monitor app crashes.
5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
To display dynamic maps and keep our platform functioning, we share minimal, specific data points with trusted processors:
Mapping Providers (e.g., Mapbox, Google Maps): Your real-time precise coordinates are securely processed through mapping APIs to render your location visually. This data is processed dynamically on your device and is not saved on our permanent infrastructure to track your historical movements.
Authentication Systems: Secure metadata tokens are passed through third-party sign-in providers (Apple, Google) to securely verify your identity.
Cloud Infrastructure: Data is securely backed up and hosted on encrypted servers.
6. International Data Transfers
NomadGO serves travelers operating internationally. Your data may be processed or stored outside of your country of residence. Where required, we ensure appropriate legal safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), are maintained to safeguard information during cross-border operations.
7. Data Storage & Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as your account remains active:
Account Profiles: Stored securely until you request a formal account erasure.
Submitted Reviews & Star Ratings: Retained alongside your account profile until deleted by you, or until your account is entirely removed from our systems.
8. Data Security
We implement strict organizational safeguards to shield your data from unauthorized access, loss, or manipulation:
All data transmitted between your mobile device and our servers is strictly encrypted using HTTPS (SSL/TLS).
Databases utilize strict access controls, isolating user personal identifiers from public view.
9. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR)
Regardless of your location, you have the full right to:
Access the specific personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate or out-of-date names or emails.
Request the absolute deletion of your data (Right to Erasure).
Object to or restrict specific data processing.

10. Account & Data Deletion Process
In strict compliance with Apple App Store and Google Play requirements, users have an absolute, unhindered path to completely delete their account and wipe their personal data.
How to delete your account:
In-App Deletion: Navigate to Account > Settings > Delete My Account. Confirming this step instantly queues your profile for absolute deletion.
Manual Request: Send an email from your registered address to dantevk@nomadgo.info with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
What happens upon deletion:
Your name, email address, and encrypted login credentials are permanently scrubbed from our active production databases within 30 days.
Any text reviews or star ratings you have published on NomadGO will either be completely purged or permanently anonymized (meaning the text remains, but your name and email are completely wiped out, replacing the author tag with "Anonymous User").
11. Children’s Privacy
NomadGO is engineered for adult travelers and nomads. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiers from children under the age of 13. If we discover such data has been uploaded inadvertently, it will be deleted immediately.
12. Third-Party Links
Our application displays locations of external businesses. If you click an external link to a business website, social page, or phone number, you are subject to their independent privacy guidelines. We hold no responsibility over third-party platform behavior.
13. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy as our app updates. Any revisions will be logged transparently inside the application interface alongside an updated revision date.
